Locations of Armor Capsules

Helmet:  Found in the Crystal Snail's stage. Go to the large pit after beating the mini-boss. Slide down the left side and go through the tunnel.

Body:  Go to Morph Moth's stage and use the I. Tracer inside the building, walking along, until it indicates an anomaly. Use the Spin Wheel where the I. Tracer indicated.

Legs:  To get to the capsule, first get the Spin Wheel from Wheel Gator. Then go to Overdrive Ostrich's stage, and go to the place where you see the heart on a bunch of spikes. Go to the right, using the I. Tracer to find the area you're looking for. You'll see the odd-colored blocks, too. Use the Spin Wheel on the blocks. Enjoy!

Arms:  Found in Wheel Gator's stage, but you need the leg upgrade capsule first. When you have it, go to the end of the first main platform. You should see a hole in the ceiling, and a little under hang near it. Use the I. Tracer to make sure you're in the right place. Climb the right wall, air-dash to the hanging, then air-dash off of that to the lower hanging to the left. Climb up.

Locations of Hearts

Wire Sponge: When you enter the stage, go left and climb all the way up the wall.

Morph Moth: You'll need the C. Hunter to get this. Go to the entrance to the building, and you'll see a shield-bearing, disk-throwing robot. Freeze him with the C. Hunter, and use him as a stepping-stone to get onto the edge of the building. Climb up to get the heart and an extra life.

Flame Stag: Ready for some thumb busting? When you get in the volcano, and the lava starts going up, go as fast as you can to the ledge where a wall-bot is blocking the heart. I recommend charging the double-shot, and firing the first shot before you even start climbing. This way, you can waste the wall-bot with the second, more powerful shot. SEE TRICKS, TIPS, AND SECRETS.

Magna Centipede: You'll need the Air-Dash to get this. Go the point where you see the first hole in the ceiling. There are some little alarm system cannons, and you'll be tempted to destroy them all, but resist the urge to ace the one to the left of the hole, should it fall down. Go to the little ledge to the right of the hole, then jump and air-dash to toward the little alarm cannon hanging on the ceiling.  If it's not on the ceiling, and you didn't kill it, go to the right to scroll it off the screen, then go back and it'll be on the ceiling again. Climb up.

Overdrive Ostrich: Get on the bike and go to the point with the sandstorm maker. There is, by the way, another bike over in that area. Destroy the sandstorm machine by ramming it with the bike. This make's it easier to see and get the heart. Now, get on the bike back to the left, and ride it all the way to the big pit, knocking down all the little walls. Go back and get another bike. Hold down the dash button, and you will probably jump over the big pit, but you might still hit the wall. I don't know why this happens, but it does sometimes. If it does, go back and get another bike. After you clear the big pit, there will be another little wall, so start firing. Keep going, but slowly, jumping over little pits. Jump onto the spike ledge, and ride the bike across. At the end will be the heart, and you'll get the heart even if you are on the bike. Good timing can let you get the heart and turn around, but chances are you'll hit the wall, the bike will blow up, and you'll fall on the spikes. Oh well, those are the breaks. Hmmm, maybe those bikes should come with breaks…

Bubble Crab: Go to the ledge where a big panel opens up, just after the really big fish appears. Dash-jump to the right, and climb up the wall. At the top of the wall, but not on the ledge, dash-jump to the left, and you should grab a floating platform. If not, just try again. Climb up the platform to get the heart.

Wheel Gator: This heart’s a pain, especially before you can get it, because it's in clear view. Go to the ledge to the right, and charge the Speed Burner. Dash-jump left, and at the peak, release the S. Burner. It will probably get you to the wall, just above the spikes, so jump as soon as you can, and get the heart.

Crystal Snail: Get the mech, then go back to the left, and fall down the pit, going to the left as you fall. You'll land on a platform. Dash-jump to the left in the mech, and hover at the peak of the pump, still moving left. Jump out just before the mech falls into the pit. You'll either grab the ledge or land on the ledge. Get the heart, and then jump on the floating platform above you. SEE TRICKS, TIPS, AND SECRETS.

Locations of Sub-Tanks

Wire Sponge: Get to the point where it starts raining. Climb up the wall just to the right of the little corridor with the weather control orb. Go to the right on the platforms to get the sub-tank. SEE TRICKS, TIPS, AND SECRETS.

Flame Stag: At the beginning, jump on the stag beetle, instead of having it ram into the wall. Ride it up as far as you can, then start jumping just barely off the beetle to get it to go up some more. When you see the ledge to the left, climb up it.

Magna Centipede: So you got the Flame Stag heart, and you're ready for more, you say? Well, look no further. This sub-tank is located before the doorway into the mini-bosses room, through the hole in the ceiling. There are two ways to get it. You can go to the part where the six blocks fall down, and air-dash between the second two and the third two, then run/dash to the right to get on the block that will move shortly, jump on it, then ride to the point, just before it falls into the pit, at which point you dash-jump to the right, and pray you catch the edge of the wall and get to climb up to get the sub-tank. Sound hard? You can take the easier way out if you have the Speed Burner and the double shot. Just get to the ledge after the six blocks, charge the S. Burner, and dash jump off the ledge, releasing the S. Burner at the peak of the jump to rocket over to the wall. The timing is difficult, but it's better than block dodging. Also, if you have the G. Crush, you can pause the game just as you get REALLY close to the wall, select the G. Crush, and use it as soon as you unpause the game to give yourself a boost.

Bubble Crab: When you get to the point underwater where you see an energy cap in the wall, charge up the Bubble Splash. Release it and jump up. The bubbles will launch you up, and you will go all the way to the water's surface. Jump again at the surface to jump out of the water. Jump across the water, onto the platform. SEE TRICKS, TIPS, AND SECRETS.

Tricks, Tips, and Secrets

DRAGON PUNCH: Get all the weapons, hearts, and sub-tanks. YOU DO NOT NEED ALL OF ZERO'S PARTS! Go the third North Pole level. AT the point where you see a ladder going up and one going down, double back to get a bat to chase you. Draw him back to the ladder. Freeze him with the C. Hunter, and then climb up the ladder. Make your way through the spikes, and then slide down the left wall. YOU MUST HAVE FULL LIFE. Get the capsule to get the Dragon Punch. You can only execute when you have full heath. Motion forward, down, down-forward, the press fire to execute the Dragon Punch

I. Tracer extra life: When you get the I. Tracer, you'll see an extra life to the left, apparently in the wall. When the I. Tracer demos for you, it locates a hidden passage in the ceiling. Jump up the capsule, through the ceiling, then go get the extra life. This won't work later in the game, after you have the I. Tracer, because you won't have the capsule there to boost you.

Life loop: In the Flame Stag's stage, there is a loop to getting extra lives. First, jump on the stag beetle, and ride up. Instead of going off to the left to get the sub-tank, go up some more then dash-jump off it to the right to get an extra life. Next, go to the lava area, and go right to get and extra life. You will die from the lava, but you will go back to the start, so you can repeat this. Nine lives!
Water jumping: You can jump across the surface of water by timing you jumps right. It's pretty cool!
Weather Control: In Wire Sponge's stage, you will see some orbs. You can alter the weather by shooting these orbs with certain weapons. The S. Burner causes sunny weather, the B. Splash causes rain, and the C. Hunter causes fog.

Energy and Weapon Fill Ups: In Crystal Snail, Bubble Crab, and Overdrive Ostrich's levels, there are small rooms where you can charge up the Silk Shot and get life energy (or weapon energy is Crystal Snail's stage). Use the I. Tracer to find them.
